Budva volleyball players defended the trophy in the Cup of Montenegro.
In the replay of the last two finals, Budva beat Budućnost volley 3:0 (25:17, 25:21, 25:14).
This is the fifth time in a row that Budva has reached the trophy in the Cup...
"I think we deservedly defended the trophy in the Cup. I can be satisfied with the game as well. The fight for the trophy itself is a big enough stress, and in this regard I would say that we managed much better tonight, that we convincingly defeated the Buducnosti team, that realistically it was not the objective state of things at the moment. A new test awaits us in the playoffs," said Budva coach Miloš Marković.
The people of Podgorica are not satisfied with the edition in the final duel in Herceg Novi.
"It's as if we were "eaten" by a great desire. It's very difficult to play volleyball without good reception and it cost us. I hope we'll come back and focus on the next games in the playoff finals. I would certainly congratulate Budva and I believe that we will in the end of the league, we have to show that we're worth it," said the Buducnost volley coach Miljan Bošković.
