At the World Boxing Championship in Uzbekistan from April 28 to May 14, Stefan Savković will box for Montenegro in the category up to 71 kilograms, and Petar Liješević, the world vice-champion in the youth age group, will box up to 86 kilograms.
"They are preparing for the biggest competition in Russia, more precisely in the Olympic city of Sochi, with the Russian team. The conditions and the way of working in the camp are at the highest possible level, and the fact that they are sparring with a large number of medal winners from the Olympic Games as and world and European championships. We are aware of how much this contributes to the development of our athletes and we will do our best to use it in the best possible way," announced the Boxing Association.
Tomislav Đinovic (up to 60 kg) from the boxing club "Zlaticanin" has been preparing for five days with the two future participants of the biggest competition, in order to gain experience for his future senior career.
