Dane Jonas Vingegard of Jumbo Visma retained the yellow jersey in the Tour d'France after the seventh stage.
The stage victory was won by Belgian Jasper Filipsen, who drove 169,9 kilometers from Mont de Marsan to Bordeaux in 3:46,28 hours. During the time of the Alpecina cyclist, a large group of cyclists passed by, including Vingegard and Tadej Pogačar.
The Slovenian Pogačar thus retained his second position on the Tour, 25 seconds behind the Dane.
