Montenegrin para-archers Milan Đinović and Ambroz Nikač will participate in the World Cup in Osijek, the Paralympic Committee announced.
Tomorrow, Đinović will compete in the air rifle discipline, in the SH1 R3 mix category, in which 19 competitors are registered.
"Đinović prepared hard for the World Cup and expects to confirm the MQS norm for the Paralympic Games in Paris for the second time this season. The competition is the strongest possible, only two of the ten best in the world in this category did not come. If he shoots like in training, I expect that makes it to the finals among the top eight. It is difficult to get a medal, because they are all very experienced competitors. Our main goal is to confirm the MQS norm and represent Montenegro at the first major competition," said Đinović's coach Željko Božović.
Nikac will compete in the air pistol discipline, in the SH1 P1 category.
In that discipline, which is on the program on Wednesday (11.45), 39 competitors were registered.
It will be the last test for Đinović and Nikač before the debut performance of the Montenegrin shooters at the European Para-Archery Championship, which will be held in Rotterdam from August 16 to 20.
