The winner of this year's traditional 457th high jump from the Old Bridge in Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is Evald Krnić from Tuza, and second place was won by Ahmet Stupac, who is the new Mostar swallow.
Igor Kazić from Mostar is the first in the pole vault, and Emil Tiro is the second. The youngest jumper was Nidal Salčin, reports the Fena agency.
The winner Evald Krnić expressed his hope that the jumpers will fight for their place in the world of sports, noting that jumping from the Old Bridge is still an unofficial sport.
33 jumpers from the countries of the region took part in the competition, 15 in the leg jump and 18 in the head jump.
The competition was held in two series, and the winner was decided by an expert judging panel consisting of: Alica Jakirović (president), Irfan Milavić, Samir Zukanović, Semir Drocić and Branko Bogičević.
Boxer Damir Beljo was an honorary member of the jury.
The competition was opened by a girl from Belgrade
The jumps are watched by thousands of visitors gathered on the canvas under the Old Bridge.
Tara Vesić, a 14-year-old girl from Belgrade, who jumped from the Mostar bridge for the first time last year, opened the competition with a jump.
