Montenegrin swimmer Miloš Milenković did not qualify for the finals of the World Junior Championship in the 50-meter butterfly.
He finished the semi-final race in 24,60 seconds.
Earlier today, he became the first Montenegrin swimmer to rank among the top 16 in the world.
In the qualifications, he swam faster and with a result of 24,28 broke the national records in the junior and senior competition.
Coach Danijela Franeta said that they are proud to finish the world championship.
"This time the final was still a dream for us, but we are happy and proud to finish this World Championship. This is proof that swimming can and must go forward, and Miloš is certainly the leader of a good generation of swimmers that is yet to come," Franeta said.
