The chess national team of Montenegro achieved three victories in the fourth round of the European Team Championship in Budva.
The only move suffered by the B team in the duel with Moldova.
The best national team achieved victory in the duel with North Macedonia more difficult than expected.
The victory came with the triumphs of Denis Kadrić and Nikita Petrov, who defeated Nikola Nikolovski and Filip Pancevski, respectively.
The duel between Nikola Đukić and Emil Risteski ended with a division of points, while Dragiša Blagojević was defeated by Toni Lazov in his first appearance at the European Championship in Budva.
The Montenegrin selection, after four rounds, has two triumphs and two defeats each.
The ladies shone again, this time defeating Austria with 2,5-1,5.
Aleksandra Milović skilfully used the advantage gained in the duel with Katarina Nevrkla, and again celebrated Alena Skvorcova.
With her third consecutive victory, after a draw in the first round, she decided the outcome of the match.
Earlier, Mateja Popović lost a much better position, so she had to settle for a draw, while Milena Mosurović was defeated despite an excellent game.
Female chess players have two wins and two losses.
The C national team also won, and the match was decided by Veljko Draganić, who won the second consecutive victory.
Draganić outplayed Rogvi Egilstoft with black pieces, so draws by Blaž Kalezić, Marko Krivokapić and Vuk Miletić were enough for the first victory.
The only defeat was suffered by the B national team, this time against the Moldova selection with a minimal result.
Aleksandar Tomić and Andrej Šuković were defeated, while Miloš Pečurica drew on the third board with grandmaster Viorel Jordačescu.
The victory was achieved by the young Milo Pobor, who has the maximum performance in the tournament so far (2/2).
In an interesting game, Pobor outplayed Jegor Laškin and in the best way justified the trust placed in him by the selector, the legendary Božidar Bonja Ivanović.
After the fourth round, there are no more teams with maximum performance, since the duels Germany-Poland in the men's competition and Germany-Azerbaijan in the women's competition ended in draws.
The great victory of the Croatian men's team against Azerbaijan, which was defeated for the second time, and before the competition, was the top seed of the tournament, stands out.
Today will remain a wonderful memory for more than 50 of the youngest Montenegrin chess players, who took a photo with Magnus Carlsen, who gladly took the opportunity and accepted the invitation to take a photo.
In today's round, Karlsen registered his third victory in four rounds played.
The fifth round games are scheduled tomorrow, followed by a day of rest.
