From tomorrow to Tuesday, Ulcinj will host the "Friendship World Cup", a sports event that will bring together hundreds of footballers and sports workers from the former SFR Yugoslavia.
The guests of the southernmost Montenegrin municipality will also be numerous other athletes who wore the jersey and won medals at the most important international competitions under the banner of the former state.
The main initiator of the event is Pavle Pepđonović, a businessman from Ulcinj, former basketball player and sports worker.
The event was supported by businessmen, hoteliers, restaurateurs, local government, the Tourist Organization and community, private and public companies and almost all citizens of Ulcinj.
The organizer announced that the guests of the event will be former footballers Dejan Savićević, Zvonimir Boban, Ljubomir Radanović, Ivan Gudelj, Faruk Hadžibegić, Davor Jozić, Mehmed Baždarević, Ivan Ćurković, Blaž Slišković, Enver Marić.
From the legends of Yugoslav sport, guests of the event will be Zoran Slavnić, Svetlana Kitić, Šaban Trstena, Mirko Vičević, Veselin Đuho, Mirko Puzović, Jasmin Mrkonja, Anto Josipović.
The event will be officially opened tomorrow at noon, on the Little Beach, and the official ceremony will include the presentation and speeches of the guests.
The start of a cultural entertainment program with coffee from the world's largest dzhezva, which arrives in Ulcinj from Sarajevo thanks to the oldest Sarajevo coppersmith Nasir Jabučar and the company Vispak, was previously planned.
At 17 pm, the promotion of the documentary film "Ćiro Blažević" is planned.
