The members of the Bar Karate Club team, Vladimir Mijač, Kenan Nikočević, Arijan Kočan and Nikola Milić, will share the award for the best athlete of that city in 2023, the Secretariat for Sports and Youth decided.
They earned recognition by winning the bronze medal at the senior European championship in Guadalajara.
In 2023, they can also boast of the title of senior champion of the Balkans in Tirana.
The successful year was crowned by the karate players of Bar with two more awards - for the best club and coach, which went to Almir Cecunjanin, the selector of the karate national team in fights.
Nemanja Jovović, a member of the senior team and the karate national team that performed at the World Championship in Budapest, will also receive a special recognition, and the talented karate player Đorđe Durutović will be among the city's promising athletes.
The official announcement of the best will be held tomorrow in the large hall of the Bar Municipal Assembly, at 30:XNUMX a.m.
