Swiss skier Marko Odermat celebrated today in the downhill in Wengen, a competition within the World Cup.
Odermat won with a time of 1:43,32 minutes.
This is the first downhill victory in the World Cup for Odermat.
Frenchman Cyprian Sarazan crossed the finish line second, 0,58 seconds behind, while Norwegian Alexander Kilde took third place, 0,81 seconds behind the winner.
In the downhill ranking, Odermat is the leader with 276 points, Sarazan is second with 230, and Kilde is third with 220 points.
Odermat is also the leader in the overall ranking of the World Cup with 836 points, Austrian Marko Schwartz is second with 464, and Kilda is third with 380 points.
