This was announced by the Athletics Federation of Montenegro, after the Board of Directors agreed with the proposal of the announcement of the President of ASCG Milorad Vuletić, related to the recent statement of the Montenegrin athlete.
In the series "I play my game", which is published on RTCG, Marija Vuković said about the coat of arms on the flag of Montenegro: "Chicken, this chicken of ours from the flag".

"As the president of the Athletics Federation of Montenegro, I spoke with our competitor Marija Vuković, regarding the statement she made on the RTCG show, which caused numerous reactions from the public.
After her public apology to the Montenegrin public for inappropriate words at the expense of the state symbol, as well as after the sincere remorse she expressed in our conversation, the Athletic Association of Montenegro put an end to this case.
As a purely sports organization, we will strive to provide the best possible conditions for the preparations and competitions of our members, and of course Marije Vuković, in the coming period, as well as until now, which is especially related to the Olympic year.
The Athletics Federation of Montenegro demands, as before, from all its members to represent their country and its state symbols in a dignified and adequate manner, both on the sports fields and outside them," reads Vuletić's announcement.
