A member of the Nikšić Athletic Club, Slađana Pejović and Ivan Bubnov from Podgorica's Millennium won the titles of the senior champions of Montenegro in cross country.
In Nikšić, Pejović triumphed in the 3,000-meter race ahead of Dijana Stanišić, a member of Sparta from Podgorica, and Stojana Brašanac, an athlete from the Sanja bar club.
The Montenegrin Olympian won the title of Montenegrin cross country champion for the 19th time.
Bubnov celebrated in the senior race at 6.000 meters in front of Željko Dabović from Sparta and last year's winner Miljan Kukuličić from Mornar from Bar.
In the ciciban competition, the best were members of Sanja, Viktor Jančić and Staša Raičević from Jedinstvo in Bjelopolje, Uroš Camović (Milenijum) and Mina Lukolić (Sanja) won among the younger pioneers, and Danil Zverev (Milenijum) and Aleksandra Madžgalj (Jedinstv) among the pioneers.
Matija Bulajić (Nikšić) and Sara Vučetić (Nikšić) were the fastest in the junior competition, while Ivan Popović (Nikšić) and Jovana Vučetić (Nikšić) celebrated in the junior competition.
In the veteran competition, Milo Mugoša (40-44, Podgorica) and Veselin Petrušić (50-54, Nikšić) celebrated, and in the women's competition, Biljana Radunović (50-54, Podgorica).
Athletes from Sanje won the most medals (seven), Nikšić took second place (six), while Millennium and Sparta had five each.
