The selector of the women's U20 volleyball team of Montenegro, Mladen Miladinović, announced the list of players for preparations before the resumption of the European Championship qualification.
The selection of players born in 2005 and later will play in group D of the second round of qualifications, in Lithuania, with the hosts and the selections of Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
There are 18 players on the list for preparations. On the list are:
Technicians - Viktoria Đukić (Budućnost Volley) and Staša Krivokapić (Galeb Liko Soho Group);
Recipients - Lara Jovović (Herceg Novi), Sanja Rudan (Morača), Gordana Madžgalj (Jedinstvo), Matea Kovačec (High School) and Darja Popović (Budućnost Volley);
Middle blockers - Milena Ćetković (Future Volley), Lana Rakočević (Future Volley), Staša Mitrović (Budva) and Aleksandra Davidović (Morača);
Proofreaders - Vanja Matunović (Mediterranean), Kristina Božović (Luka Bar) and Viktorija Čoković (Budva);
Free - Ksenija Krunić (Academy) and Milica Veličković (Unity);
The qualification tournament will be played from April 5 to 7, and the Montenegrin volleyball players will gather in Podgorica on March 25 and prepare in the Verde sports hall.
In the first round of zonal qualifications in Ankara, the Montenegrins took fifth place, winning over Kosovo 3:1, while in the group they were defeated by Greece 3:2 and Serbia 3:0.
Placement to the European Championship, which will be played from August 5 to 17 in Bulgaria and the Republic of Ireland, will be provided by the winners of the groups, as well as the four best second-placed national teams from all qualifying groups.
Miladinović will be assisted in his work by Luka Bogojević and Srđan Crnojački.
