Montenegrin boxer Tomislav Đinović won the gold medal, while Tamara Radunović was defeated in the final of the prestigious international tournament Belgrade Winner.
In the final match of the category up to 60 kilograms, Đinović defeated the Russian Aršak Tovmasian.
He deservedly celebrated after a great fight and numerous exchanges of blows, and already in the first minute he forced the referee to count the excellent Russian fighter.
Đinović won the gold medal after four triumphs.
In the first two rounds, he eliminated Hungarian Krizit Kovač and Stefan Camović from Serbia, while in the semi-finals he won against Artur Gararijan from Armenia.
According to many, Radunović undeservedly lost the final match up to 66 kilograms to Rikol Maels from France.
The bronze medalist from the senior women's world championship won 3:2.
Radunović defeated Angelina Savlaković from Russia in the semi-finals, returning to the ring after a year and a half and winning a bronze medal at the European Championships in Budva.
The successful performance of the Montenegrin national team, winning bronze medals, was completed by Stefan Savković, Nikola Lekić, Nina Radenović and Petar Liješević, who could not perform in the semi-finals due to an injury to his right thumb.
