The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) announced today that Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Finland will host the 2026 European Volleyball Championship.
Romania and Finland will host the group stage matches, while the round of 16 and quarter-finals matches will be played in Italy and Bulgaria, and the semi-finals and medal matches will be played in Italy.
Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Finland, the organizers of the championship, as well as Serbia, Poland, Slovenia, France, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Germany and Portugal won the place at the European Championship in 2026 based on their place at the previous European Championship.
The remaining 12 national teams will be known after the qualifications that will take place this year and next year.
The champion of Europe in 2026 will qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
