On Saturday, Belgrade will host the 45th World Cross Country Championship, where Montenegrin athletics will be represented by Slađana Pejović and Željko Dabović, the Athletics Federation announced.
It is stated that the championship in Friendship Park, at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, will gather more than 600 participants from 50 countries of the world.
Both Montenegrin representatives will compete in the ten kilometer race.
The leader of the Montenegrin expedition will be coach Osman Erović.
The start of the senior women's race is scheduled for 12 hours and 45 minutes, while the seniors will start 45 minutes later.
