The Olympic rings will be displayed on the Eiffel Tower, organizers announced today, as Paris prepares to mark 100 days until the start of the Olympic Games.
On the south side of the famous 135-year-old Eiffel Tower, 29-meter-long and 15-meter-high Olympic rings made entirely of recycled steel will be exhibited.
Work on setting up the five Olympic circuits will begin at the end of the month, the organizers said.
This year saw an increase in the number of visitors to the Eiffel Tower.
About 10.500 athletes will parade boats on the Seine at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 26, and the competitions will last until August 11.
