The sports fair on the occasion of the Day of the National Team at Independence Square in Podgorica met expectations. Sports associations highlighted promotional stands with national sports equipment, professional educational brochures, but also props for practicing the mentioned sport.
All stands of Montenegrin sports associations and national teams were visited by the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro for Demography and Youth and the Minister of Sports and Youth, Dragoslav Šćekić, with his colleague from the 44th Government, former football player Aleks Bečić and the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović.
And while Vice-President Vlade Bečić, although in a business suit, showed great football technique on the improvised pitch of the Football Association, the president of COK did not hide his satisfaction.
"It is dynamic, there is a nice energy and a lot of children are present. I hope that it will interest them in playing sports. The attendance is excellent, the response of the sports associations as well, which is very pleasing," Simonović said.
