The vault above Volujica was darkened in a fraction of a second by an oval-shaped object - it was a 600-gram disc that the younger pioneer Tara Olja Simićević threw at 41,30 meters, breaking the national record by over six meters! The girl from Mojkovac showed once again, after being the record holder in all previous ages, that Tara, the best Montenegrin athletics club, is another pearl.
Not only Simićević, other students of professors Marko and Danilo Ristić also achieved great results at the Montenegrin Championship for younger pioneers.
"All our competitors achieve great results, but Simićević is - I'm absolutely sure - the most talented pioneer in Montenegro, regardless of the sports discipline. There are no European tables at her age, but I'm sure that no competitor born in 2011 can throw for that result. The runner-up at the championship with a coach from Russia, had a shot that was even 19 meters shorter", the initiator of the trophy club from Mojkovac, Marko Ristić, did not hide his enthusiasm.
Along with Simićević, who also triumphed in the three-kilogram shot put, they confirmed the enormous talent of Jelena Kljajević - by jumping 11 centimeters higher than the second-ranked athlete, Mladen Ristić was first in the 800-gram discus, and he was born in 2014, and they are rivals in three years. older, and the youngest, Tamara Filipović, in shot put and discus, and Dunja Ristić, who missed out on a medal, were also excellent.
"If the rapper is of the opinion of the best experts from the region that a height of 129 centimeters is an extraordinary result for younger juniors of 11 years, then Dunja is just as talented as Olja, since at the age of nine she jumped the bar to 130 centimeters. However, for me it is still not comparable , because Dunja is too young and further development will determine the real potential. Mladen was also the champion last year, but at the same time he is also training in basketball," added Professor Marko.
And Danilo Ristić is the true successor, at the entrance exam for the Faculty of Physical Culture in Nikšić, he threw the shot put 15 meters and broke his father Marko's 35-year-old record (13,12 meters). Danilo is also engaged in pedagogical work and training in Tara.
"He is a great worker, and he is making progress and is constantly learning, and he attended seminars in America, trained in Israel, but also with a prestigious American expert during a six-day workshop in Podgorica, for which the Athletic Association paid 20 euros about 1.750 days ago. focused on the World Championship for senior juniors in Peru, for which Vesna Kljajević is the only competitor in the shot put. She was the only one who had the norm for the championship in Israel last year In January, they were a year older. At that age, that's a whole meter of progress. However, she decided to choose a university, and it was her decision to study mathematics in America," said Professor Marko.

Her scholarship is the fourth won by training in Tara, and the fifth is on the way - even though she is 15 years old, Anđelina Lašić is close to the norm in the javelin.
"He can achieve that result already in September, and he still has four years to go, and Radovan Sošić, who is a year older than him, is extremely talented, and as a junior, he was third in the high jump in the senior competition at MOSI". They travel, Malta, Iceland, Balkan championships...there they make friends, learn the language and the club enables them to prepare and help them go to the world's most prestigious universities, claims Ristić.
The municipality of Mojkovac and the family budget preserve the splendor of Tara
In addition to the results, the competitors of Tara at the championships captivate with their behavior and equipment. They showed their social responsibility a few days ago in the reforestation of the Battle of Njiva.
"Members of Tara do not pay membership fees, equipment, as well as travel and stay at competitions. The municipality of Mojkovac is a sponsor in accordance with the possibilities, and the economy in the city is weak and there are no sponsors, so we cover the "holes" in the club's budget by separating it from the family budget. daughter and second son. Enthusiasm and the well-being of the community drives us forward, but as a club we are not adequately rewarded. At one point, it went back to the old way. The government must have a special budget for clubs and athletes with exceptional results ", believes Marko Ristić.
Great results at younger ages are too often not accompanied by medals in the strongest senior competition - why?
"Competitors shine, and then go to study. Podgorica, as the largest center, does not have an athletics stadium, there was talk of a national sports center in Podgorka and one in the north during the summer, but Bar remained the only one with working conditions. Returning after studies to our club mostly is followed by a lack of interest, so that the competitor has a score 20 percent lower than before leaving. Tara has no time to waste, I devoted myself to athletics for the reason that I can work in accordance with the possibilities with one competitor, if there are conditions and with 31 members - explained Marko Ristić.
Montenegro will not have Olympic-standard athletes in Paris
"I definitely do not see, based on this season's results, that anyone can repeat the feat of Marija Vuković and win the A norm for Tokyo. Not even the B norm, and Montenegrin athletics can be represented in Paris only on the basis of an invitation - a "wild card". Montenegro is back to the sports system that didn't give results, and I repeat - it will be like that until the government has a fund for the most promising athletes and clubs that have results. It's in vain that the state gave a third more budget to athletics - the results are worse, and it will be like that until then a good plan and the system don't follow through," concluded Ristić.
