Nenad Dulović's silver medal is the result of the Montenegrin karate expedition at the 59th European Championship in Zadar.
In the "Krešimir Ćosić" hall, the members of our kata team did not take advantage of their chance in the performance, losing to Azerbaijan by half a point - 41,1:40,60.
The excellent performance of coach Milena Milačić's team was not adequately rewarded, but sharing fifth place with France is confirmation of the quality and continuity of excellent results.

"The nuances decided, we were better in the kata, the stronger kata, but in the bunkai at the finish we lost our advantage. They were surprisingly accurate, but they are more experienced than our team, my team is young and there is room for improvement. The ranking among the five is certainly a great result," said coach Milačić.
Unlike the match in Guadalajara, when Barani, Vladimir Mijač, Arijan Kočan, Kenan Nikočević and Nikola Milić won against Azerbaijan and won the historic, first bronze under the Montenegrin flag, today the judges thought differently.

Bijela's karate player, Nemanja Mikulić, also lost the medal match yesterday.
"The result is great, but the possibilities were great for an unforgettable result. Everyone gave their maximum, showed enormous potential, respect for the referees, the rival... Both synergy and mutual support were like never before in the team," said the leader of our team in "Peki", Vojin Dulović, President of the Assembly of the KSCG.
In the second semi-final, Italy won bronze, one more point than France.
