Today in Podgorica, the women's volleyball team of Montenegro defeated the selection of Georgia 3:1 (25:13, 23:25, 25:14 and 25:16), in the first tournament of the CEV Silver League.
It is the second triumph of the Montenegrin volleyball players, after they defeated the Faroe Islands 3:0 (25:13, 25:10 and 25:15) in the first match of the new season.
They achieved a new triumph after 90 minutes of play.
After two matches played, Georgia has a half-hearted performance.
Montenegrin volleyball players, after the tournament in Podgorica, travel to Portugal, where they will host Iceland from May 24 to 26.
The host of the third tournament was supposed to be Bosnia and Herzegovina, from May 31 to June 2, but after the withdrawal of the host, all matches with it will be counted as an official result in favor of the opponent.
The Montenegrin selection on the fourth weekend will be free, as will Portugal, Hungary, Latvia, Georgia, Iceland and Luxembourg. The best two national teams, after four played tournaments, will play a two-match final on June 13 and 16, respectively.
