Montenegrin boxer Bojana Gojković is one step away from qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris.
This morning, Gojković defeated Anđani Teni from Nepal by unanimous decision of the judges and advanced to the quarterfinals of the category up to 54 kilograms at the Olympic qualification tournament in Bangkok.
Placement in the semi-finals brings an Olympic visa - Gojković can reach it already tomorrow, when her opponent will be Huang Hsiao Wen, who was better than the Danish representative Melissa Mortensen.
Hsiao Wen is the 2019 world champion, and she won a bronze medal at the previous Olympic Games in Tokyo.
