Italian motorcyclist, Ducati driver Francesco Banjaja, is the winner of today's race for the Italian Grand Prix, the seventh in the Moto GP championship.
Banjaj celebrated in front of compatriot and club colleague Enea Bastianini.
Jorge Martin from Pramak was third, while Mark Marques from Gresini finished fourth.
With this victory, Banjaja reduced the gap behind Martin in the overall standings. Martin is the leader and has 171 points, Banjaja is in second position with 153 points, while Marques is third with 136 points.
The next race in the Moto GP championship is scheduled for June 30, when the race for the Dutch Grand Prix is held.
