The Karate National Team of Montenegro finished their performance at the Balkan Children's Championship in Istanbul in third place, with 35 medals.
Nine gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals were won.
On the last competition day, a successful performance was completed with two gold, three silver and four bronze medals.
Men's kata teams - 10-11 years old (Vid Beljkaš, Jakov Cupara, Boris Perović, Boris Vujanović) and 8-9 years old (Filip Bulatović, Luka Ilinčić, Matija Maraš) won gold medals.
Silver medals were won by women's kata teams 10-11 (Mia Bulatović, Stefani Đuković, Lana Drača, Ana Pavlović) and women's kata team 8-9 (Leana Kovačević, Valbona Paljević, Irsi Šabanović) and men's kata team 8-9 (Jevrem Cupara , Luka Drobnjak, Teodor Tošić).
Bronze medals were won by Anđela Đurović, Mia Ajković, Asija Đonbaljaj and Pavle Lazović.
In the general classification, Turkey was the most successful, while Serbia took second place.
The Balkan Championship in Istanbul brought together 1.541 karateka from 12 countries - Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Montenegro.
