Montenegrin paraswimmer Iskra Dedivanović swam three finals and broke four personal records at the sanctioned World Series swimming meet in Berlin.
Dedivanović competed in class S9, in the junior competition.
In the 50-meter dolphin race, she achieved a result of 43,39 seconds and took sixth place.
She was eighth in the 200 medley (3.31,40), and ninth in the 50 freestyle (37.45).
"She swam a personal best in the 50 backstroke, which is proof of her constant progress and ability to rise above the challenges. Particularly impressive was her participation in the 50 freestyle, 50 dolphin and 200 medley, where she not only qualified for the final, but has set a new personal record in each of those disciplines," said coach Danijela Bulatović.
She emphasized that it was an extraordinary success that deserves recognition and shows her strength and competitiveness at the international level.
"Unfortunately, she was disqualified in the 50 and 100 breaststroke due to a technical error. Although it was disappointing, it is important to note that she achieved outstanding times in both events that reflect her potential and dedication to training. Those mistakes are a learning opportunity and will be the focus of our future training sessions to ensure that they do not happen again," said Bulatović.
Iskra Dedivanović's performance in Berlin is financed by the program of the Paralympic Committee, which was supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro.
