The selector of the men's senior volleyball team of Montenegro, Ivan Joksimović, has determined a wider list of seniors for the upcoming qualifications for the European Championship in 2026.
Montenegrin volleyball players will compete in group C with the selections of the Czech Republic and Norway for the fourth consecutive place at the European Championship.
There are 23 volleyball players on the wider list of coach Joksimović.
They were invited technicians - Danilo Dubak (Future Volley), Rastko Milenković (Budva), Marko Joksimović (Qatar Sport) and Avram Božović (Future Volley);
Proofreaders - Đorđe Jovović (Triglav, Slovenia), Bojan Strugar (Milas Beledije, Turkey), Milutin Pavićević (Vanta, Finland) and Luka Lojić (Future Volley);
Service recipients - Vojin Ćaćić (Al Faisali, Saudi Arabia), Ivan Zvicer (Liaoning, China), Nemanja Peruničić (Triglav, Slovenia), Benjamin Hadžisalihović (Budva), Vasilije Milenković (Budva), Milan Rovčanin (Edinstvo) and Vukašin Cimbaljević (Ribola Kaštela , Croatia);
Middle blockers - Ivan Ječmenica (Budva), Luka Babić (Žitiči Polisja, Ukraine), Nikola Đurović (Union), Matija Ćinćur (Budva) and Srđan Petrović (Union) and
Free - Stefan Radević (Future Volley), Andrija Joksimović (Qatar Sport) and Damir Ćatović (Edinstvo).
Joksimović's team will face Norway away on August 17 and the Czech Republic on August 24 in front of home fans in Kolašin.
Next year, they will play two more qualifying matches - in the Czech Republic on August 13 and a couple of days (August 16 or 17) with Norway in front of their fans.
