The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced today that France will host the 2030 Winter Olympics.
The games will be held from February 1 to 17, and the host will be the French Alps, namely Upper Savoie, Savoie, Brijanson and Nice.
The guarantees for holding the Games were also signed by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the future prime minister, who will be elected after the Summer Olympics, will have to do the same.
"I confirm my total commitment and the total commitment of the French nation. I will ask the next prime minister not only to sign this guarantee but also to declare the Olympic law," Macron said.
IOC President Thomas Bach said that the future French Prime Minister will have to sign a document guaranteeing the key points of the agreement by October 1.
The national governments of the Olympic host countries must sign the financial and security pledges necessary to organize the Games.
