Montenegrin athletes participating in the Paralympic Games in Paris successfully passed the anti-doping tests conducted by the Montenegrin Anti-Doping Commission as part of the preparations.

The Commission said that, before leaving for the Paralympic Games, following the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee and the International Testing Agency (ITA) for national anti-doping organizations, they successfully implemented planned activities related to the education and testing of athletes.

Director of the Anti-Doping Commission Olivera Prodanović said that clean sport, protecting the integrity of athletes and especially protecting their health is a common goal.

"That was also the main motive for the realization of this task. Applying the International Standards of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), four samples of our Paralympic athletes were analyzed in a WADA-accredited laboratory in Vienna and the results were negative for all of them, which means that they all successfully passed the anti-doping tests," said Prodanović.

She pointed out that Montenegrin Paralympic athletes are a source of great pride for Montenegro.

"Not only because of his exceptional sports achievements, but also because of his dedication to the highest standards of integrity in sports. We believe that education and regular testing are key in ensuring clean sports and preserving the health of athletes," stated Prodanović.

She thanked the Paralympic Committee and the athletes for their commitment and support.

"Our vision is for Montenegro to be a role model in the fight for clean sport. We will continue to be with our Paralympians and their teams during the Paralympic Games, with the aim of achieving top results together, not deviating from the principles of fair play and health care," said Prodanović.
