A total of 12 million tickets were sold in Paris during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the French newspaper Figaro reported.
For the Olympic Games, held from July 26 to August 11, 9,5 million tickets were sold.
When it comes to the Paralympic Games (from August 28 to September 8), the figure is 2,5 million, Figaro said.
According to the number of tickets sold, this year's Games in Paris were more successful than the 2012 Games in London when 10,9 million tickets were sold.
