One of the biggest traditions in Montenegrin sports - the 45th Karate Liberation Cup of Podgorica, will be held on December 1 in SC Morača.
Traditionally and continuously, in celebration of the Liberation Day of Podgorica on December 19, KK Budućnost holds an international karate tournament.
The first tournament was held in 1976 in the Youth Center "Budo Tomović" with the participation of teams - Nikšić, Borac (Čačak), Čukarica (Belgrade) and Budućnost. Over 1.000 competitors from Germany, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, Macedonia, Slovakia and countries from the region are expected to participate in this year's tournament.
Information that this year is the jubilee celebration, the 45th edition, KK Budućnost as the organizer will present recognitions, thank you notes and plaques to the most outstanding members - competitors, friends and long-term sponsors of the club.
It is one of the oldest sports manifestations in our city and Montenegro, on that occasion an organizing committee will be formed so that the competition will take place at the highest organizational level, the "blue" camp announced.
Budućnost reminds that at the first tournament in 1976, Dragi Stanišić, Vlado Zarubica, Miodrag Milić, Derviš Selhanović, Novica Antić, Darko Raspopović and Rajko Vujošević performed for the club.
