From September 26 to 29, Budva will host the Balkan Championship and the Balkan Cup in rhythmic gymnastics, where more than 200 girls from 21 countries are expected to participate, the Gymnastics Association announced.
The participation of contestants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey and Montenegro has been announced.
The guest of the Gymnastics Federation will be the vice-president of the International Gymnastics Federation and the president of the Balkan Gymnastics Federation Suat Celen, as well as the leaders of the national associations of the countries of the region.
The supervisor of the competition will be Natalija Bulanova. The organizer of the championship is the Gymnastics Association, with the help of traditional sports friends - the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and the Municipality of Budva.
At last year's championship in Budva, Montenegro was represented by 15 girls in individual and group exercises.
