Tonight (18:30 p.m.) the Budva volleyball team is visiting the Finnish Valepa in the first match of the CEV Cup.
Previously, Budva were defeated by Croatian Mladost in the 1st round of Champions League qualification, so they continue the competition in the CEV Cup, where they will face the third-placed team from the Finnish championship.
"We are playing against a good team that certainly plays well at home, but we know we can play with them. We want to play a good match and get our maximum. We have nothing to lose, we want to enjoy this double-header and try to advance," said captain Balša Radunović, who recently won the first cup of the season in the Super Cup with his team.
After winning the Super Cup, Miljan Bošković's team won at the start of the EPCG Super League for volleyball players in the derby against Budućnost. Two triumphs will be the wind behind Budva for tonight's duel in the Vexve Arena in Sastamala.
The return match will be played in Budva, on October 16, at the Mediterranean Sports Center.
The winner of this double match will play in the round of 16 with the Turkish team Zirat Banka.
