The candidate for the president of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Katarina Bulatović, responded to the vice-president of that organization and the president of the Club of Montenegrin Olympians, Andrija Popović, announcing that she is ending the controversy with her second letter to the media.ž
"I didn't mean to provoke a negative reaction from you, but to give documented and argumentative answers to the questions I sent you. I consider it important for national associations that have their representatives in the assembly, non-Olympic sports and associations that are part of COK".
"I'm sorry that you misinterpreted my address to you, but your 13-year work as president of KCO should have been appreciated by the mandatory regular and election assemblies where you should have delegated the issue of your successor and all the problems you mentioned".
"Essentially, you did not give answers to the questions, while also mentioning our athletes who won medals at the Olympic Games. I am not against you and them, but your part and you know that very well!
"By mentioning their names and great careers, don't look for an alibi and credibility for your possible management failures, because that is an UNSPORTING act".
"As a long-term vice-president of the COC, you had the opportunity to direct more time and energy to the work of the COC, delegate some projects and send them to the Olympic Solidarity Fund of the IOC, find a model of how to finance the club's activities and not let time pass the organization whose responsible person you are for so long".
"Respecting your position and unimpressive response to the Montenegrin Olympians and the public, I hereby end the polemic on this topic, I am sure of the position of the verification commission and the COK assembly on this issue," said Katarina Bulatović.
