Auto moto sports club AP Sport from Pljevlja dominantly won the first title of club champion of Montenegro in mountain car races and ended the 15-year dominance of Kotor.
Sports drivers from Pljevlja were team winners in all seven races in the season.
They successively won victories from Šavnik, through Kotor, Kolašin, Njeguš, Pljevlja and Pod until the final competition in Dubrovnik.
The president of AMSK AP sport Mirhad Plakalo said that they implemented everything they announced before the start of the season in the best possible way.
"From the beginning to the end, our sports drivers were up to the task and in the end deservedly achieved a great and historic success, with which we made many fans of motoring in Pljevlja happy. There were also bad luck with the cars in some races, but we solved it on the fly, so the compactness of our team ultimately brought great success," said Plakalo.
He founded that sports team 15 years ago.
The dominance of the Pljeval club is confirmed by the titles of Nikola Tošković, Miloš Borilović, Slobo Mugoša, Baćko Vujović, Ena Plakalo, Dragan Lukić and Milo Malović.
A special result was achieved by Baćko Vujović, who triumphed in all seven races and set records in his class on six tracks.
"I will remember the season for my excellent performance and victories in all races. I set new records on six tracks, the only time I won first place in Savnik without a record time in the 1400 H class," said Baćko Vujović.
