American swimmer Regan Smith is the new world record holder in the 100-meter backstroke. At the World Cup in Incheon, South Korea, she set a new world record with a time of 54,41 seconds.
The previous record was 54,56 seconds by Australian Kylie McCown.
Regan Smit is a trophy swimmer - the very top of the world because at the age of 22 she already has two Olympic and three world gold medals.
