The duel of the first two holders of the World Championship for people without and with visual impairment, Hungarian Zoltan Ištvan Zambo and Montenegrin chess player Predrag Nikač, ended in a draw in the third round.
The white pieces were led by the Hungarian fide master, the kar-kan defense was played, and Nikač decided on the fianketo of the king's hunter.
After a mutually correct game, the opponents agreed on a draw.
In the previous part of the tournament, Nikač registered a victory and two draws.
Another Montenegrin representative, Radovan Damjanović, played a meaningful game with the representative of Finland, Ari Tonteri, which ended in a draw after only kings remained on the board.
After three rounds, Damjanović has a win, a loss and a draw on his account.
Today is the fourth round. The organizers of the World Championship, which is played within the framework of the IBSA federation, are the Chess Federation and the Paralympic Committee, and it is sponsored by the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
