McLaren driver Oscar Piastri will start from pole position in the Formula 1 sprint race before the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Pjastri drove the qualifications in a time of 1:08,899 minutes.
He was 0,029 seconds faster than club colleague Lando Norris, and 0,254 seconds faster than Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.
The current world champion and leader in the general classification Max Verstappen from Red Bull took the fourth position, while the fifth was the Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz.
George Russell, Pierre Gasly, Liam Lawson, Alexander Albon and Oliver Berman were also up to the tenth position.
The sprint race is scheduled for Saturday at 15 p.m.
