Montenegrin kickboxer Lazar Klikovac finished his performance at the European Championship in Athens with a bronze medal.
Klikovac lost to the current champion of the world, Nikola Todorović from Serbia, in the semifinals of the K1 discipline, up to 81 kilograms, by a unanimous decision of the judges. Klikovac previously celebrated against Nikita Tataru from Moldova and secured the bronze medal.
Nemanja Čađenović will fight for a place in the final tomorrow. His rival in the low-kick discipline, category up to 71 kilograms, will be Lazar Stupar from Serbia. Čađenović defeated Greek Jorgos Maros in the quarterfinals.
Victor Borozan (low-kick, -67 kg) and Nemanja Mandić (low-kick, -75 kg) ended their performance earlier without medals.
