All the team compositions for the next season in Formula 1 are known, since Audi (successor of Zauber) decided to give a chance to the new hope of Brazil - Gabriel Bortoleto.
He went through the development program of McLaren, which allowed him to strengthen Audi.
Bortoleto was the Formula 3 champion on his debut last season, and is the leader in the general standings of Formula 2 this season.
Although Sauber had five pilots from their program, they decided on the 20-year-old Brazilian, in order to attract sponsors from Brazil. Since September, Bortoleto has been tested on last year's Formula 1 cars, and Fernando Alonso's promotion company, A14, took care of his progress.
"He's really incredibly talented, he succeeds from the start what other young men need 20 tests for," said Alonso.
And Bortoleto has been behind the wheel since he was a child, his father is the driver of all national car races in Brazil.
