Miloš Milenković broke the Montenegrin record in the 50-meter butterfly at the World Swimming Championships in small pools.
Milenković swam the section in a time of 23,89, which is ten hundredths better than the previous record, which was also his property.
In total, he took 48th place in the general classification.
"In his first appearance at the world championships in small pools, Miloš did not enter the semi-finals, but it is important that we progress in every competition and that we are part of this incredible organization. In the morning qualifiers, two world records were broken, which is an indication that this championship will be stronger than ever, and it is a huge privilege for us to be here to grow and progress", said coach Danijela Franeta.
On December 13, Milenković will swim the 100-meter butterfly.
The day before, Jovana Kuljača will compete in the 50-meter backstroke, and on December 14, she will swim the 50-meter crawl.
