Montenegrin high jump record holder Marija Vuković will compete at an indoor meeting in Belgrade on January 29th, the Athletics Federation announced.
It will be her return to the runway, after missing the second half of last season due to injury.
Vuković will travel to Belgrade from preparations in Athens. She jumped 185 centimeters at an indoor meeting in Thessaloniki in mid-January, after a full training session.
Vuković will compete at the Balkan Indoor Championships in Belgrade on February 15th.
The organizer announced that the meeting in Belgrade will bring together numerous world aces. Miltijadis Tentoglu, the official Olympic champion, world and European indoor and outdoor long jump champion, has confirmed his arrival.
The Greek is the owner of a total of 11 major gold medals, including two consecutive Olympic medals in Paris and Tokyo.
It was also announced that Serbian national athletics representative Asmir Kolašinac will end his career at the Belgrade meeting.
