Norwegian skier Atle Li McGrath won the slalom race in Wengen, Switzerland, today as part of the World Cup. McGrath won with a time of 1:45,94 minutes. Second and third place were taken by his compatriots Timon Haugan, 0,18 seconds behind, and Henrik Kristoffersen, 0,29 seconds behind.
Switzerland's Marko Odermatt remains first in the overall World Cup standings with 866 points, 232 more than second-placed Kristoffersen. Switzerland's Loik Meijar is third with 527 points, McGrath is fourth with 482 points, while Haugan is fifth with 413 points.
Kristoffersen is the leader in the slalom standings with 435 points, while second-placed Mejar has 370 points.
The World Cup competition continues on Friday, when the super-G is scheduled in Kitzbühel, Austria.
