Fide master Nemanja Vukčević defeated grandmaster Denis Kadrić and with the victory joined Nikita Petrov and Andrej Šuković at the top of the table after the sixth round of the 77th Montenegrin Senior Individual Championship.

Vukčević, a medical doctor, took advantage of Kadrić's carelessness with surgical precision and recorded an effective victory.
A lesser-known variant of the Sicilian defense was played, and Vukčević built the position with precise play.
In the end, he managed to defeat Kadrić's pieces, so the Montenegrin national team's leading board was forced to admit defeat in a position with equal material, where he had no useful move.
A great victory for Vukčević, his fifth at the championship, and his only defeat so far came from Nikita Petrov.

Šuković opted for the French Defense, treated the position correctly and equalized the game with the black pieces.
With a small carelessness, he allowed the defending champion to complicate the fight, Petrov sacrificed a piece in a positional sense, and when a big fight was expected, White decided to repeat the move and draw the game.

The bard of Montenegrin chess managed to defeat the fide master Miloš Vlatković with black pieces in the sixth round.
Vlatković had the advantage, but he gave grandmaster Ivanovic a chance to turn the game in his favor with an effective strike and record a victory that moved him closer to the top of the table.
Interestingly, the other duels of players who had 3,5 points before today's round ended in draws, which was made the best of by: grandmaster Nebojša Nikčević, international master Blažo Kalezić and fide masters Jovan Milović and Peko Đurović, who joined the group of players who have four points after this round.
Table after six rounds played: 1-3 Petrov, Šuković, Vukčević five each, Ivanović 4,5, while Kadrić, Nikčević, Nikač, Tomic, Vujošević, Pečurica, Mušović, Kalezić, Podlesnik, Milović and Đurović collected four each.
