The series (Failure) of Champions, broadcast by Youth Sports Games, which has gained great popularity in the previous two seasons, is entering its third season and gaining a new dimension.
After Mario Stanić and Mirza Džomba (his guests, among others, were Dejan Savicevic, Predrag Mijatovic i Veselin Vujović) the role of host will be taken over by the legendary Croatian football player and coach, Slaven Bilić.
His first guest, next Monday, February 17th, will be the most decorated European basketball coach of all time, Željko Obradović.
Bilić said: "Children need to be sent messages from which they can learn - failure is an integral part of life, which even their greatest sporting role models went through."
"Exactly seven days are left until the official start of the special edition of the sports show (Un)Failure of the Champion, for which Slaven Bilić will take over the special hosting baton. '(Un)Failure of the Champion: Special with Slaven Bilić' is a continuation of the series of exclusive interviews, which will begin broadcasting on Monday, February 17th at 20 pm on the Arena Sport 1 channel. After Stanić and Džomba, Bilić will, as the new host, host sports greats from our region, whom young people around the world look up to as role models and dream of one day being just like them. Therefore, this temporary engagement of Slaven Bilić is not easy, but, as he pointed out, it is a role he could not refuse, because children are the foundation of the future."
"I consider joining the temporary hosting team a special professional and personal challenge. The '(Un)success of the Champion' project is particularly interesting to me primarily because of the message it sends to young people and children. I believe that the content is equally valuable for all parents, coaches, sports workers, practically for all generations. I followed the previous seasons of the show, where I myself learned something new about some people I have known for years. Prompted by these reasons, I could not refuse Zdravko Marić's invitation to take on the role of host. It was Zdravko who recognized the importance of investing in working with children many years ago, and in addition to our personal connection, I have been supporting everything that the Youth Sports Games bring to children for many years. As one of the first ambassadors of the Games, I had the opportunity to see for myself from day one how sport shapes the character and lives of young people. That is why I think this is a great opportunity to bring stories, through these conversations, that will touch young people and encourage them to never give up. "I believe that we can all take away some important messages and learn life lessons from each guest," said Slaven Bilić.

"Slaven Bilić is a former player, selector, coach, sports columnist, expert commentator, lawyer, UNICEF ambassador, parent, and also a true fan of r'n'r in the world of sports. He was an indispensable part of the Croatian national team that won third place at the 1998 World Cup, the coach of the A and U-21 Croatian national football team, and a coach who led a large number of clubs, including Hajduk, West Ham United, and Besiktas. It is precisely because of his sports and life experience, and his human qualities, that Bilić himself found himself in the role of one of the guests in the first season of the series and is now taking on the role of host of the special edition," it was announced.
"His playing and coaching experience makes him an invitation to a deeper understanding of sports life, making him the right choice to continue this story at an even higher level. From guest to host, this is further proof that "(Un)Success of the Champion" is not just a show, but a platform that grows, develops and brings together the best," it was announced.
"In addition to being proud of the fact that during our 29 years of existence in Croatia, 15 years in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 12 years in Serbia and two years in Slovenia, we have gathered over three million children and young people, we are equally proud that the show '(Ne)uspjeh prvaka' has found its way to viewers of all generations. Our goal was for the show to be another platform on which to inspire the young generations, and we believe that this season's special will attract special attention. We also use this opportunity to thank Mario Stanić and Mirza Džomba, top athletes and great people, who, with their dedicated work and passion for the project, made a huge contribution to the two seasons of the show. Their energy and dedication have raised the bar high and we are sure that Slaven will make a fantastic contribution to this story through the upcoming episodes. As he himself emphasized, he has been with the Youth Sports Games from the very first days - he was one of the first sponsors of the competition, the first ambassador and all these years he has been one of our biggest promoters around the world. We are extremely grateful to him for setting aside his personal time and agreeing to this temporary trip with a noble goal," said the Youth Sports Games.

"Support in the realization of the show was also provided by long-time partners of the Youth Sports Games, Coca Cola and Bambi AD, through their Plazma brand. In addition to them, the Games said that they were particularly honored that the Arena Sport group recognized the importance of this project and, by broadcasting the show on its channels, continued cooperation with the largest amateur sports event in Europe."
"As a reminder, the show (Un)Failure of Champions focuses on the life stories of the greatest former and current sports figures from our region, who, among other things, openly and emotionally talk about obstacles and setbacks on their sporting journey and how they managed to overcome them, fight through them and (build) great sports careers. In previous seasons, some of the guests were: Aleksander Čeferin, Dejan Savićević, Darijo Srna, Šime Vrsaljko, Edin Džeko, Nemanja Vidić, Aleksandar Kolarov, Predrag Mijatović, Zlatko Zahovič, Kiril Lazarov, Mateja Kežman, Zlatko Dalić, Ivica Olić, Predrag Danilović, etc."
