Table tennis player Boris Đukanović from the Herceg Novi club Boka and Anastasija Vujović from Budim in Berane are the winners of the invitational senior Top 12 tournament in Podgorica.
Djukanovic confirmed his good form by winning the trophy with maximum efficiency.
In the decisive match for first place, he defeated the youngest participant in the tournament, the talented Milan Vučetic (STK Novi).
Vučetić had a 2:1 lead, but the more experienced Đukanović managed to turn things around and win 3:2 in sets.
Second place went to member of the Kotor STK Dušan Bulatović, and third to Milan Vučetić.
In the senior women's category, Anastasija Vujović confirmed with a new trophy that she is the most promising Montenegrin table tennis player.
She played the most uncertain match against Kristina Šebek from Buducnost.
Vujović lost the first two sets, only to turn things around and win.
Second place went to Šebek, while third place went to Mia Živanović from Valdanos in Ulcinj.
The awards to the best players at the tournament, which was held in the hall of the Podgorica "Novka Ubović" Elementary School, were presented by Aleksandar Vujović, a member of the Board of Directors of the Table Tennis Association, and Božo Ćorsović, the President of the Referee Commission.
