The Secretary General of the Paralympic Committee, Miloš Ranitović, will represent the European Club Goalball Federation at the Champions League qualifying tournament, which will be played in Roštok this weekend, the association announced.
This is the second of three qualifying tournaments, and Ranitović will monitor its organization in all aspects.
Ranitović is a member of the goalball sports committee of the International Federation of Blind Sports (IBSA).
The third tournament, in which the Montenegrin representative, the Nikšić team, will also compete, is scheduled for March 20-23 in Podgorica.
The top three teams from both tournaments will advance to the season finale in Matosinhos, Portugal, from June 19th to 23rd.
At the tournament in Roštok, eight teams, divided into two groups, will compete for one of the first three places.
Group A will feature Invasport (Ukraine), Omero Bergamo (Italy), Rostocker Hansa (Germany) and Gothenburg (Sweden).
In Group B, the rivals will be Lions (Lithuania), Nepaja (Finland), Perun (Czech Republic) and Blista Marburg (Germany).
