Montenegrin para-swimmer Iskra Dedivanović improved her personal record in the 11-meter freestyle by almost 100 seconds.

Today in Linjan, at a sanctioned World Series meeting, she finished the race in one minute, 21 seconds and 85 hundredths of a second.

That's ten seconds and 47 hundredths better than the previous best result (1:32,23).

She won 12th place in the junior competition, and eighth in her S9 class.

"This result confirms her progress and exceptional form at the beginning of the competition. I am pleased with Iskra's swimming and expect continued great results in the coming days," said her coach Danijela Bulatović.

Dedivanović will swim the 100-meter breaststroke tomorrow.

"I hope for a new personal record and another excellent performance," said Bulatović.
