Montenegrin para-swimmer Iskra Dedivanović finished seventh in the S9 category and with a new personal best in the 100-meter breaststroke at the sanctioned World Series meeting in Linjan.
In the overall standings, she had a ninth-place time in the junior competition.
Dedivanović finished the race in one minute, 46 seconds and 59 hundredths of a second. That's three seconds and 71 hundredths better than her previous best time (1:50,30).
Dedivanović improved her personal best in the 10-meter freestyle yesterday by 47 seconds and 100 hundredths of a second.
Coach Danijela Bulatović said that Iskra Dedivanović's personal records are further proof of her progress and continuous work.
"Iskra showed great fighting spirit and strength today. Breaking a personal record in such a competition is no small feat, and she does it day after day. I am very proud of her performance and I can't wait to see what the rest of the competition brings us," said Danijela Bulatović.
Dedivanović will swim the 100-meter backstroke tomorrow.
"We believe that Iskra will continue with excellent results and new successes," Bulatović added.
