The Assembly of the Table Tennis Federation adopted the reports on work and financial operations for the period between two sessions, from June 1 to December 31, 2024.
Both reports, presented by President Željan Šoć, were adopted with 18 votes in favor and one against.
Representatives of 13 clubs at a regular meeting in Podgorica proudly once again welcomed the result of Filip Radović, who won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris and repeated the huge success from Tokyo 2021.
The delegates positively assessed the work with younger player categories, which continued in the second half of last year, when young national team players continued with notable results in numerous international tournaments, as well as the European Championship in Sweden and the Balkan Championship in Bulgaria.
It was stated that working with younger player categories should continue to be a priority for the Federation.
The implementation of the preparations and the camp, which was held with the large attendance of table tennis players, coaches and sparring partners in Berane, were praised.
The reports of the women's national team coach Dijana Zonjić and the men's national team coach Saša Dragaš were unanimously adopted.
Also unanimously elected as new members of the STSCG Board of Directors were former eight-time individual senior champion of Montenegro in table tennis, Erdan Sutović from Rožaje, and Čedomir Damjanović, a member of the former champion generation of Lovćen.
Damjanović is also the coach of the SPK for people with disabilities Luča and the table tennis Paralympic national team.
It was announced that the Table Tennis Federation will celebrate its great jubilee of 70 years of existence and successful work in the second half of October with a ceremonial academy in Podgorica.
