Table tennis player Filip Radović, as the group winner, earned a direct place in the semifinals of the international tournament in Vladislavovo, Poland.
The other Montenegrin representative, Luka Bakić, will compete for a place among the top four in the S10 category tomorrow in the quarterfinals, after finishing second in the group competition.
Radović reached first place in group two, category S10, with victories over Pole Dominik Bartosz 3:0 (11:0, 11:3 and 11:3) and Spaniard Jose Manuel Ruiz Reyes 3:0 (11:8, 11:4 and 11:4).
His rival in the semi-finals will be known tomorrow, after the quarter-final matches.
At the start of the competition in the first group, Bakić was defeated by Frenchman Mateo Bohas 3:0 (11:7, 11:9 and 11:4), while in the match for second place and the quarterfinals, he defeated Pole Pawel Wlodika 3:1 (11:9, 11:3, 9:11 and 11:9).
His rival in the quarterfinals will be Japan's Mahiro Funayama or Brazil's Gabriel Antónios de Oliveira, who surprised Poland's Igor Mištal and eliminated him from further competition.
Bohas, by winning first place, joined Radović in the semifinals.
The quarterfinal matches are scheduled for tomorrow at ten o'clock.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., while the trophy will be decided at 15:50 p.m.
Radović and Bakić, led by coach Vladimir Marić, began the season and the fight for points and a better position in the World Rankings with the tournament in Vladislavovo.
